Procedure Access Tool—PAT™

With some policy and procedure databases running to 6,000 pages, finding the right procedure can be time consuming and frustrating. Trying to find a procedure in the database means knowing the name the database uses for that procedure, or programming the database with dozens of alternatives. Neither way encourages quick, simple access to the information.

To that end, The Bishop Company developed PAT™—a graphical user interface (GUI) that provides quick and easy access to a desired nursing procedure. All you need to retrieve information is a simple understanding of where the procedure takes place on the body.
